January 31 ~ Saturday

This morning I finally got around to coloring my hair. It had been WAAAY too long.

Jeff and I did the post office run today, then dropped in a couple of places to use this debit card the required number of times so the bank won't charge us the $6 monthly fee.

First day of on line school.

Katherine and I went to Walmart to pick up at food and shipping envelopes
At home I made meatloaf, sweet potatoes and salad for dinner and we all sat and had a nice dinner together.

Lost and found again..... In Jeffrey's room this time.....

His front end was hiding behind the telescope.

January 8 ~ Thursday

OPPS! Forgot to post today!

January 7 ~ Wednesday

This morning I took a lot of pictures of stuff to list.
Jeff packed and shipped.
Then he and I drove towards downtown Phoenix to FINALLY get two tires for the car.
We got a great deal and had them put a leftover tire we had in the shed on one of the back wheels.
Now we wont be stressed when we go out that we may get a flat (since the spare was already on on one of the front wheels..)
We stopped for some food and tape at Walmart then headed home.
I pulled apart the bed with Katherines help and rearranged the interior pieces to hopefully make it easier for me to sleep.
Made eggs for dinner and watched Sleepy Hollow in the evening.

We need to get Iggy a bell... or attach one of those devices that set off an alarm when you clap your hands because he is getting more and more clever in his hiding spots.
Two days ago he was in Katherine's closet laying across the top of the hanging clothes.
Today I guess he wanted to catch up on a little light reading... It took us an hour to find him.

January 3 ~ Saturday

Not a lot going on these past few days.
I spent a lot of the day listing DVDs on eBay which paid off with over $100 of immediate sales.
Katherine and I dropped off a few things at the post office then went to the Goodwill to drop off donations, look around and went by both the Dollar Tree and the 99¢ store.
Katherine finished the Walking Dead and is now all caught up.

Last week Katherine did her hair so it would be all curly:

January 2 ~ Friday

Today was another REALLY cold day.
We spent most of the day trying to keep warm by huddling in front of the space heater while watching HGTV. I also took the tree down and put away the Christmas decorations.
Katherine watched at least 8 episodes of the Walking Dead and is almost caught up.
Jeff and I went to the Post Office and then to Walmart for house stuff like Kitty Litter and soap.
It will be below freezing outside tonight. Which would be find if it didn't feel like it was also below freezing in the house.

Kitten doing what she loves most, drinking out of the sink:

January 1st ~ Thursday

Happy New Year!
Well here we are again.
Not where I would have guessed I would be, living (temporarily) in Arizona but here we are.

Today we mostly  just relaxed. Katherine watched NCIS all day yesterday and today she worked on getting caught up on the Walking Dead.

I made a pie (I still had leftover ingredients that I wanted to use up) and everyone had that for dessert.

Here are a few pictures from Christmas to get this blog started off:
